THE AMERICAN DOG!

President Bush and Osama Bin Laden decided to settle the war once and for all. They sat down and decided to settle the whole dispute with one dog fight. Each would have 5 years to breed the best fighting dog in the world, and whichever side's dog won would be entitled to dominate the world.

Osama found the biggest, meanest Doberman and Rottweiler female dogs in the world, and bred them with the meanest Siberian wolves. They selected only the biggest and strongest puppy from the litter, and removed his siblings, which gave him all the milk.

After 5 years, Osama came up with the biggest, meanest dog the world had ever seen. Its cage needed steel bars that were 5" thick and nobody could get near it.

When the day came for the dog fight, President Bush showed up with a strange looking animal. It was a 9-foot-long Dachshund! Everyone felt sorry for President Bush, because there was no way that this dog could possibly last 10 seconds with the Afghanistani dog.

When the cages were opened up, the Dachshund came out of it's cage and slowly waddled over towards Osama's dog. Osama's dog snarled, leaped out of its cage, and charged the American Dachshund - but when it got close enough to bite, the Dachshund opened its mouth and consumed Osama's dog in one bite! There was nothing left of his dog at all!

Osama came up to President Bush, shaking his head in disbelief...
" I don't understand how this could have happened. We had our best people working for 5 years with the meanest Doberman and Rottweiler female dogs in the world and the biggest, meanest Siberian wolves."

" That's nothing," said President Bush...
" We had our best plastic surgeons working for 5 years
to make that alligator look like a weenie dog!
"

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

ONE VERY SMART LITTLE DACHSIE!

A wealthy man decided to go on a safari in Africa. He took his faithful pet dachshund along for company. One day the dachshund starts chasing butterflies and before long the dachshund discovers that he is lost.

So, wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having lunch. The dachshund thinks, "OK, I'm in deep trouble now!" Then he noticed some bones on the ground close by, and immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dachshund exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?"

Hearing this, the leopard halts his attack in mid-stride, as a look of terror comes over him, and slinks away into the trees. "Whew!", says the leopard. "That was close. That dachshund nearly had me."

Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes. But the dachshund saw him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figured that something must be up.

The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans, and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine."

Now, the dachshund sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back, and thinks, "What am I going to do now?" But instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet ...

and just when they get close enough to hear, the dachshund says,

Now, where's that monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard!

Li'l Dachs WebRings TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP

Li'l Dachs WebRings are devoted entirely to the Miniature Dachshund breed,
or in the case of the Toy Dog Ring, to any Toy Dog breed,
or in the case of the German Shepherd Dog - The TOTAL Canine, to the GSD breed.

Dachshund, Toy Dog, or German Shepherd Dog
owners, trainers, reputable breeders, rescue & adoption organizations,
and web sites with Dachshund, Toy Dog, or GSD information & links
are eligible to join.

Step 1: SUBMIT YOUR SITE
Once you submit your site for membership, it will be reviewed by the RingMaster.
All submissions will be reviewed prior to being approved.
Only sites that are Dachshund/Toy Dog/German Shepherd Dog related
and suitable for general audiences will be accepted.
This includes any LINKS from the submitted site to other sites.

Keep in mind that proper use of English grammar is expected in site titles and descriptions. This includes proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. If there are any errors in grammar, your site title and/or description WILL be corrected by the RingMaster prior to approval of your site. The RingMaster WILL NOT CHANGE your information, but WILL CORRECT any errors in grammar. Please don't take offense, but we like for our Ring to portray a 'professional' image.

Step 2: REVIEW OF YOUR SITE
The review process rarely takes more than 24 hours.
You will be notified via e-mail as soon as your site has been reviewed.
New submissions will remain in "PENDING" status until reviewed.

Step 3: APPROVAL OF YOUR SITE
Once your site has been approved for membership, you will be notified.
You must place the proper navigation code on your web site
in order for your membership to be activated.
Approved sites will remain in "SUSPENDED" status
unless and until working navigation code is in place.
Newly approved sites will have 7 DAYS from the date of approval
to place working navigation code on their web page.
If working navigation code is NOT placed on the web page within 7 DAYS,
the site will be DELETED from the Ring without further notice.

If your site should be denied, you will be notified of the reason for denial.

Step 4: PLACE THE CODE ON YOUR SITE
It is highly recommended that you use
SSBN navigation code on the web page URL you submit.
This should result in a full "PASS" status
when tested by the WebRing Navigation Code Checker.

You may use HTML navigation code if you prefer.
If you choose to use HTML navigation code,
you must NOT modify the original code in any way,
and you must manually update the code
any time changes to the NavBar are made by the RingMaster.

If you choose to place the navigation code
on a page other than the URL you submitted,
there must be a clear link from the submitted URL
to the URL where the navigation code resides.
The 'text' portion of the link (hypertext, not the URL name)
must contain the word 'webring'.
IMAGES that say "WebRing", like using the WebRing logo, won't work!
The TEXT enables the WebRing Navigation Code Checker
to find the navigation code on the linked URL.
This should result in a "PASS_L" status
when tested by the WebRing Navigation Code Checker.
Here's an HTML example of an acceptable PASS_L style link:

<a href="http://www.mysite.com/links.htm">WebRings</a>

This code will display the word "WebRings" on any web page.
You would place this code on your WebRing REGISTERED URL.
Remember to CHANGE the URL in the provided code to YOUR SITE's URL
where your WebRing navigation code is located!

Clicking on the displayed word "WebRings" will take visitors to another page,
where your WebRing Navigation Code is placed, and the Ring's NavBar appears.

Please remember, you have 7 DAYS to
place working navigation code on your web page.
After 7 DAYS, new sites WITHOUT working navigation code
will be DELETED from the Ring.

Step 5: ACTIVATION OF YOUR SITE IN THE RING
Once your working navigation code is in place, and you 'PASS' the checker test,
your site will be activated in the Ring promptly.

Step 6: KEEP THE CODE IN PLACE
& YOUR MEMBERSHIP INFO UPDATED

* You must keep working navigation code in place on your web site at all times.
If your site should 'FAIL' the checker test, you will be notified, and
your site will be suspended from the Ring until working navigation code is in place.
Any site that remains suspended for any reason concerning navigation code
will be automatically deleted from the Ring after 10 days.

If you cannot correct the problem(s) with your suspended site within 10 DAYS,
you MUST contact the RingMaster at webmaster@lildachs.com
in order to obtain an extension of time in which your site can remain suspended.
Otherwise, after 10 DAYS, your site will be DELETED from the Ring.

If an e-mail message from WebRing is returned as 'undeliverable',
the RingMaster will make every effort to locate a
valid e-mail address on your web site and contact you.
However, it is NOT the RingMaster's responsibility to track down your email address!
Your site WILL be suspended until your e-mail address is updated.

after 7 days will be automatically deleted from the Ring.

* Our WebRings are "kid safe".

,
will be automatically deleted from the Ring without notice.
